Camp Daybreak is located on Anvil Island on Howe Sound. It is located about 2 1/2 hours by chartered boat from Vancouver.
Parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up their children PROMPTLY at the time and place indicated above.

STUDENTS SHOULD BRING THE FOLLOWING:
- bag lunch for Wednesday
- sleeping bag (pillow optional)
- flashlight
- pen, pencil, notebook, paper
- sunscreen and insect repellent
- toiletries and personal articles (towel, face cloth, soap, etc)

CLOTHING - Dress for outdoor activities: towel, hiking boots (broken in), running shoes, warm sweater, rain jacket and pants, t-shirts, shorts, jeans/sweatpants, underwear, socks and sun hat

OPTIONAL: Camera, cards, sunglasses, softball mitt, pocket money.
Articles should be packed in a duffle bag or knapsack - please try to avoid frame packs or suit cases.
Potential Known Risks & Safety Information:
Students must prepare for the weather and take precautions accordingly. During any unstructured time, students must remain within the supervision bounds of the camp.

Behaviour Expectations:
It is important students understand that non-prescriptive drugs and alcohol are forbidden during all school functions. Similarly, there will be no smoking permitted. Teachers will expect instructions to be willingly followed, especially in regards to safety and deportment. Any serious infraction will result in the student being returned to Vancouver at the parents expense.
