The Grade 8 class had a fabulous time at Bamfield. In the words Ms. Benson:
"It was the first time that we have ever experienced snow in Bamfield; the first time that it has never rained on us in Bamfield; the first time we have been given the opportunity to explore Eagle Bay; the first time we have watched waves come crashing over the bow of a BC Ferry; the first time we were able to see a moon snail out of its shell; the first time that one of our students was able to find a very elusive invertebrate that was worthy of taking back to the lab; and the first time we weren’t required to open our first aid kit! It was wonderful to hear comments like "It is so beautiful here" and "I want to live in Bamfield" and "Is it possible to volunteer at the aquarium when we get back home?" and to see the constant smiles on everyone's faces. Without a doubt our Grade 8s were wonderful ambassadors for the Mini!"
We are happy you are back and proud of the way you conducted yourselves!
