Teachers
Mr. Hamilton
Mr. Hamilton has been teaching at Point Grey Mini School since 2003. He is a graduate of UBC Education and UBC Arts where he majored in International Relations and English Literature. He teaches Humanities and English, and also coaches the Point Grey Girls Hockey Team.
He has been the League Convenor for Girls Hockey in Vancouver since 2005, worked as a Coach Course conductor for Hockey Canada, and has coached and played hockey in Japan. He has been recognized by ProMOTION Plus, a BC organization for girls and women in sport for his volunteer work in female hockey.
Mr. Hamilton likes Star Wars and Shakespeare, and his favourite Canadian novel is Three Day Road. In 2015, he became co-head teacher, sharing the position with Mr. Skarsgard. He is also the leader for the Duke of Edinburgh Award at the Mini.
Humanities 9/10 Mini
This course, comprised of equal numbers of Grade 9 & 10 students, covers the complete Grade 9 & 10 Humanities curriculum in alternating years.
